SureHire explains Endoscopic

Endoscopic exams are commonly used to examine the gastrointestinal tract. These procedures include colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy. Specialized endoscopic devices called bronchoscopes are also used to examine the respiratory tract and lungs. While usually flexible, sometimes a rigid endoscope is used to enter the body and remove a foreign object trapped in a person's airway. An endoscopic device may also be used in combination with other devices and procedures to perform a detailed exam of a patient's internal organs. Examples of these types of procedures include endoscopy, enteroscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound.
